It's time for the Scholarship Committee to begin the online application process for the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League Scholarship Awards. Any senior playing in the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League is eligible to apply. Please read all the information below prior to applying. The link to apply online is at the bottom of this page.
It is important when you apply that two (2) letters of recommendation, a personal essay, and the fully completed application are submitted by 5:00pm, Friday, February 10th, 2012 deadline. The Scholarship Committee will not consider partial or late applications. Instructions for submitting the essay and recommendations is listed below and will also be emailed to you upon completing the online application.
- We are proud to offer five college scholarships to student-athletes for outstanding academic and athletic achievements.
AWARDS AVAILABLE INCLUDE:
One $4,000 Scholarship
One $3,000 Scholarship
Three $1,500 Scholarships
ELLIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Graduate from high school
- Be a Lake Highlands Girls Classic League Player senior year in HS
- Be accepted and attend an accredited four-year college
SELECTION BASED PRIMARILY ON:
- Citizenship and Leadership History
- Academic Excellence
- Essay *
- Recommendations *
- Interview Evaluations for Finalists (We will notify you if you are a finalist)
- * Your essay and references/recommendations should be emailed or faxed to Peter@rtwfa.com after completing your online application and must be received by the 5pm, February 10th, 2011 deadline.

** To comply with the NCAA Guidelines, the Final Selection Panel may not use athletic ability or intent to play at the collegiate level as a major criterion in their decisions.
